Class Participation
Students are expected to contribute to creating a positive learning environment. They are expected to be prepared for class, follow rules and directions, and a 100% on task. Being an active learner means asking relevant questions, contributing to meaningful discussions and activities in class. Not working during class time or any form of disruptive behavior will incur reduction of grade. Participation grade is integrated in all aspects of the teaching-learning process, from recitation to tests, lab work, peer review on group projects, and self-assessment after every unit.
