Welcome Back!

September 13, 2009

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to a new school year. I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful summer, and is now fully energized to take on new and exciting challenges and projects this school year has to offer. In addition to the Planting Science project, we will be working on new collaborative projects, such as, the Jason Project [http://www.jason.org/public/home.aspx], the Globe Project [http://www.globe.gov], and the Classroom in Space Project [http://space.yesican-science.ca]. These projects will provide extensive opportunities to meet, work, and learn from scientists worldwide, and in outer space, as we investigate key topics of research in science.

I will continue to use this blog for homework, projects/requirements announcement. Wikis, websites, and this blog will serve as venues for you to collaborate and share your investigative work and findings to the entire world.
